Grandmother’s Favorite Dishcloth
This is a great all-purpose dishcloth. (And my husband’s favorite). The garter stitch is very “grippy” and is great for anything from washing dishes to cleaning up a baby’s face (and arms, and hands, and tummy…) and dinner.
I thought this would be a cute dishcloth to give to… um, the person I am going to give it to. I don’t know if the person reads or will read this, so I better not give it away. In any event, I think that she will like it.

House Dishcloth
I thought this was a cute little pattern, and that it would go well with the Moose pattern.

Grandmother’s Favorite Dishcloth is my favorite dishcloth pattern. Makes good dishcloths. Have you seen the ones in Mason and Dixon’s book?
My husband LOVES Grandmother’s Favorite Dishcloth. He has actually asked me to make more for us. I love how the garter stitch is really grippy. They are great for cleaning off babies at the end of meals (which has got me thinking that garter stitch bibs would be great).
I haven’t seen the Mason & Dixon book yet, but it seems to be pretty popular. I will have to check it out.
I love the house one! that is too cute. :)
