I apologize for the blurry picture. I finished these socks SO long ago and then had to wait and wait and wait for my husband and I to have free time at the same time so we could take pictures. When we finally did, he refused to go outside and was impatient. So, you get blurry pictures. On the upside, you get to see his very sexy legs. (Or, at least they are to me - I rather like them.)
pattern notes: These are very basic socks with a traditional heel flap. To add a bit of interest, I used 3×1 ribbing. I basically followed the pattern in the book (of course, it’s been so long that I can’t recall which pattern circumference… if I had to guess, it was the 10″, but it might have been 9.5″, because the socks are pretty snug). A couple changes that I made: I ended the toes a bit early (I don’t care for pointy toes on my socks), ending with 24 stitches, and I made the leg portion a bit shorter than the pattern recommends so that I would have enough yarn left to finish both socks.

Woo hoo…nice legs! :) It would be really quite scary if those were your legs, wouldn’t it??
great socks! what do you think of that yarn? is it soft?
That is the beauty of socks - you can really modify them for whomever pretty easily. They look perfect for a guy. I actually like the look of 3X1 rib. :)
Thumbs up on the legs (oh, and the socks too)! :-)
